On this guided walking tour of Alcudia Old Town, you will explore the oldest and most historic part of the town together with an expert English-speaking guide who lives in Alcudia and knows its streets, stories and hidden corners inside out. The route has been carefully designed to offer a complete yet relaxed overview of Alcudia’s history, culture and daily life, combining famous landmarks with lesser-known spots that most visitors would never discover on their own.
During the walk, you will stroll along the medieval city walls, enjoying beautiful panoramic views over the old town rooftops and Pollensa Bay. You will visit the main square and charming narrow streets, lined with small shops and terrace cafés, and learn about the Town Hall, one of Alcudia’s most important historic buildings. The tour also includes the Church of Sant Jaume, one of the town’s most iconic landmarks, where your guide will explain its role in Alcudia’s past, as well as the fascinating story of Pollentia, the ancient Roman capital of Mallorca, whose remains still shape the layout of the town today.
This walking tour usually takes place in the early evening, when Alcudia Old Town begins to come alive after the traditional afternoon siesta and temperatures are more pleasant. It’s the perfect moment to explore the town at a relaxed pace and work up an appetite, as after the tour you can stay in the old town for a typical Mallorcan dinner. Your guide will be happy to recommend local restaurants, bars and places where locals like to eat. If you prefer a different time of day, the tour can be arranged flexibly on request — simply contact us via WhatsApp to check availability.
Throughout the walk, your guide will share interesting historical facts, local anecdotes and Alcudia’s best-kept secrets in a friendly and engaging way. Rather than feeling like a lecture, the experience is conversational and enjoyable, allowing you to ask questions and truly connect with the town as you wander through its streets, walls and squares.
Alcudia Walking Tour Reviews
Excellent Alcudia walking tour with a friendly local guide. Informative, easy and very enjoyable.
We booked our Alcudia walking tour with NoFrills Excursions and were very happy with the experience. Well organised, informative and relaxed, with a guide who clearly loves the town and its history. Highly recommended.
This Alcudia walking tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Mallorca. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the old town’s history to life with stories about the Roman city, medieval walls and local traditions. Walking along the walls at sunset and learning details we would never have noticed on our own made this experience truly special.
Cami was great to guide us and explain little bits of information about Alcudiabut that made me appreciate even more this wonderful place. She has a very friendly and open minded personality, she answered our questions and kept us interested.
Jeannine was a very friendly and pleasant guide and provided many interesting insights. It was a nice and fun tour with her in Alcúdia (and we are seeing her again for one in Palma).
We‘ve had a tour around Alcudia old town with Jeanine today. There were just 3 of us, and it turned out to be an individual tour. Jeanine is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable, attentive, answered tons of our questions not always related to the topic of the tour, spent more time on us than initially expected. We’re very very grateful to the guide! Highly recommended!
Excellent tour for my wife and myself around the old town with Michael who had a wealth of knowledge. Learnt about the defensive wall, the Roman and Arabic influences on names in Al Cudia and how the island stays so green with so little rain. Even discovered where the best Chinese restaurant was as Micheal told us one of his many light hearted stories from 20+ years spent living on the island.
A very enjoyable experience walking round the beautiful old town. Our guide Michael was excellent, providing lots of very interesting information. Highly recommended. Thank you Michael!
Really enjoyed the tour . Jeannine had very good English and was very knowledgeable about the area. Was interesting to find out facts about Alcudia and its history .
A very enjoyable experience. Michael was very knowledgeable about Alcudia and took us on a lovely exploring walk through the old town. He was very aware of my husband's disabilities and carefully paced the walk accordingly , which was much appreciated.
