While on holiday you should never have to compromise, that's why we have added this outing to our selection of excursions. This half day excursion to the Caves of Drach has been especially thought out for those who simply don’t want to miss out on the opportunity of visiting the spectacular Porto Cristo Caves of Drach but have limited time on the island or would just rather spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool soaking up the sun.
Once we have everybody on board our air conditioned coach, we will make our way inland and drive through the beautiful countryside towards the East Coast, where the Caves of Drach are located and where you will live an experience to cherish.
The visit inside the Caves of Drach has a duration of approximately 80 minutes. You will follow the route through the caves, marvelling as each cavern is bigger than the last and more impressive as you progress. The highlight of your visit will be the classical music concert inside the Caves of Drach and crossing Lake Martel's spectacular waters in a small wooden boat (optional). This boat ride is a unique once in a lifetime experience and is included in the price. Lake Martel is one of the largest subterranean lakes that exist. During the visit you will also witness a magical light show that recreates the sunrise.
On this half day excursion you will also have the opportunity to visit the world famous Majorica Pearls and purchase gifts or simply treat yourself at special prices, as there is a shop from this iconic Mallorcan establishment right by the Caves of Drach. The visit to Majorica Pearls is completely optional. Then it will be time to get back on the coach to return to resort, giving you plenty of time to relax by the swimming pool or head to the beach to enjoy the rest of the day's sun rays.

Hermosa experiencia en familia. La duración de la excursión nos pareció muy adecuada. Ivi, nuestra guía, fue muy amable. Nos brindó toda la información que necesitábamos y siempre estuvo pendiente de las necesidades del grupo. Nos tocó un chofer muy profesional y un bus muy cómodo. En cuanto a la cueva en sí, nos pareció una experiencia imprescindible si se visita Mallorca. Lo recomiendo.

Wir wurden morgens pünktlich abgeholt und sind zügig zur Drachenhöhle gefahren. Unterwegs gab es auf dem Hin- und Rückweg viele Informationen von Katharina, die aus Deutschland kommt und daher super deutsch spricht. Die Drachenhöhle mit dem Konzert und der Bootsfahrt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, anschließend war noch ausreichend Zeit um die Perlenfabrik und den Hafen zu erkunden.
The caves were amazing. I never saw as many stalactites and stalagmites was well as the lakes. The classical music played by musicians on a rowing boat was beautiful and then the short boat ride across the lake at the end of the tour was a fitting finale. The coach ride down from alcudia was pleasant and the guide was very informative and efficient. She made sure we knew how to enter the caves and was waiting when we came out to direct us to the shop/cafe/toilets and make sure we knew when our bus was and when to board it. This was a perfectly run excursion that the whole family enjoyed.
