This shore excursion is specially designed for cruise passengers arriving at the Port of Palma de Mallorca, offering a comfortable and well-paced way to discover the island without stress. After disembarking, we pick you up directly outside the cruise terminal and travel by coach or minibus into the heart of the Tramuntana mountains, enjoying panoramic views of the Mallorcan countryside along the way.
Our first stop is Valldemossa, one of Mallorca’s most iconic mountain villages. Here you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time, which you can choose to spend joining our guide for a relaxed walking tour through the cobbled streets—learning about the Carthusian Monastery, Frédéric Chopin’s stay, and the village’s history—or exploring independently, browsing local shops or enjoying a coffee in the picturesque main square.
We then continue with a scenic mountain drive, offering spectacular views of the dramatic west coast cliffs, before descending into the fertile Sóller Valley. In Sóller, you will have free time to discover its elegant modernist architecture, visit the main square and church, or simply soak up the authentic atmosphere of this charming town. Depending on timing and cruise schedules, there may also be a brief visit to Palma city before returning safely to the port, always ensuring a timely return to your ship.
Customer reviews for the shore excursion to Sóller and Valldemossa
Perfect day from our cruise stop in Palma. Relaxed pace, lovely villages and felt very safe with the return to the ship guaranteed.
Great value compared to cruise excursions. Comfortable transport, knowledgeable guide and stunning mountain views. Highly recommended.
Excellent shore excursion from the cruise port. Valldemossa was beautiful and Sóller charming. Everything was perfectly timed and very well organised.
Excellent communication prior to our excursion. Camy our tour guide was very informative and attentive to everyone's needs. We would highly recommend this tour.
Great excursion company! The bus was very comfortable and clean. Our tour guide, Pedro, made sure no-one was left behind and made the experience very interesting. He was very knowledgeable and gave everyone enough time at each spot. I would definitely recommend this company.
We were picked up at the ship. There was some confusion at the Port where the pick up point was. But a quick WhatsApp message was sent and we were picked up by Camy and the bus driver Emilio. Camy was a very good tour guide and explained pick up times at each destination when she gave us free time. The bus driver was excellent especially on the tight roads before we hit Soller. Well worth the tour
We enjoyed this tour, as we have previously been to Mallorca we decided to go further afield and see these pretty villages. Our guide was informative and offered suggestions on where to eat/drink or what to do with our free time in each place. The amount of free time was about right, meaning we were exiting the villages around the time numerous larger coach tours were arriving! Price point of the tour compared favorably with the cruise line, for a smaller group experience, and despite the 'no frills' name, it wasn't a 'no frills' experience. As others have said, the instructions for the meeting point were unclear if you are joining the tour from the cruise port in Mallorca - however, we were able to make contact with the guide and the mini-bus did pick us up from where we had been directed by cruise staff (which was different to the tour operators instructions).
The tour was very good. We especially liked Valldemossa. Camy is a great guide and was very informative and offered suggestions on where to eat/drink or what to do with our free time in each place The only negative point is the instructions for the meeting point are very unclear if you are joining the tour from the cruise port in Mallorca. Clearer instructions should be given as all the participants on our tour were unsure and were directed outside by port and cruise staff but the bus was waiting inside the port for us.
We are docking in Palma with Wonders of the sea.Is it possible to buy tickets on the morning when ship docks…we worried that the ship’s time of docking and your bus time are not the same.
Enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and the guide's commentary. Both Valldemossa and Soller were stunning. The bits in between were too. Well worth spending the day docked at Palma doing this tour.
